Florian Sempey sings at Royal Opera house

After his flamboyant debut as Rossini's Barber last year, baritone Florian Sempey begins his season again at the Royal Opera House in London, playing the role of Schaunard in La Bohème by Puccini and Papageno in  Mozart's Magic Flute .

If Donizetti is not outdone this season, with Florian Sempey's debut in the role of Malatesta (Don Pasquale) at the Opéra de Paris and Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor) at the Opéra National de Bordeaux, the young baritone confirms this season -if still necessary-, that he is one of the great Rossini's barber of our time, since after having sung it triumphally on the prestigious stages of Opéra de Paris, Royal Opera House of London,  Rossini Festival in Pesaro and Opera di Roma, he embodies it again   at the  Opéra de Paris in this 2017/2018 season, as well as at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Opéra de Marseille, the Grand Théâtre du Luxembourg and the Chorégies d'Orange.
